Light hearted multiplayer games?

G'day everyone,

My wife and I are looking for a fun, light hearted multiplayer game we can play together, you know the type, Mario Party, Diddy Kong Racing, Donkey Kong Country (okay I know that's just a heap of old nintendo games, but you get the point)

Any ideas on any such games that would be available on Steam or GOG?

Kingdom of the mad god.

Basically, you spawn as a choice of low-level class, then as you level up, you unlock more classes. You lose all your levels, items, and map data when you die, but you can still use your newfound knowledge of tactics, and rough locations you remember, and your new classes to use.
