Windows .jar Launcher now limited to 1gb mem ?

Since the last patch i cant set memory usage higher than 1gb in the settings.
And i usually run with 4gb assigned to Minecraft.

So now im getting all sorts of stuttering, so my only alternative i guess is manually
install all the mods and manually adjust the memory assigned, since the launcher cant.

Make sure you don't have Java 32 hiding about somewhere
