We're a small server with close friends who play on it. We've opened it up several times to the public and we've had some good experiences. We're hoping to do that again with the new FTB Unleashed mod pack, a new world, and new players to join us. If you want to join, and meet the rules then feel free to post an application. I will give anyone a chance but bans are final.

I don't agree with those silly forms people make you fill out. You tell me plain and simple what you think I should know and I'll take a look. We only have a few rules, English speaking only, Preferably from the UK players, groups of friends are welcome, and age doesn't really matter but younger players will be allowed in on a trial basis.

hey,

I'm a 26 years old player from Portugal (so I'm in the same timezone as the UK). I consider myself reasonably experienced with most mods and definitely experienced enough to know what to avoid doing for server health, but I haven't tried out the unleashed modpack and want to check it out. I stopped playing a few mouths back by lack of time and my regular server closed in the meantime. I've been "hopping servers" for a couple of weeks looking for one that "feels right". I enjoy making community-oriented builds/contraptions.
As for TS: my mike situation isn't ideal (I do have one but...it's complicated) but if there is a strong presence at TS I am perfectly comfortable being "that creepy guy that listens in and replies in the chat".

Hello, Your first post is fine, I will add you on a whitelist for the server.
We do have a small town at the moment which we are hoping to expand, you're more than welcome to join us! Co-Ords / TP can be given in game if an admin is online.

TS isn't a requirement, it's there if you'd like to use it. But it's totally up to you, if your happy using ingame chat then by all means use in game.

Second post - No the server is set as standard but it's pretty hard as is! I don't know why but there is a whole lot more monsters in this mod pack than normal! You will see what i mean when you start playing.

And disabled wise, the only mod disabled is open peripheral due to it crashing the server and making the mod pack unplayable. Everything else is enabled (Providing it's used and not abused).

The current players on the server do work during daytime and some night time, so the server may be quiet at certain points of the day. But when we can, we are online!

I am an 18 year old male from UK/England and I have been searching for this sort of server for a long time and it seems I have finally found the one I've been looking for. I am not very experienced with the mods and have a lot to learn but I do know what causes lag, So there's no need to worry about that. The things I like doing in minecraft are redstone and helping with community builds if asked. I have TS and a microphone, Also I may go off from time to time in the day due to friends wanting to play with me other than that I should be on rather frequent. I'm a 24 years old German looking for a not too crowded server. I really enjoy playing Minecraft, be it with others or by myself, so I spend alot of time doing that .
I'm not too god with building fancy stuff right away, most of the time I'll have to go over my work several times before it looks somewhat nice but I'm really good with all the mods tech stuff. I'm playing modded Minecraft for over a year now so I have a lot of experience with most of the mods in the pack.

not sure what you mean about the more monsters in the modpack, apart from the thaumcraft zombies I didn't see anything out of the ordinary, but then again I spent most of the time in a hole fascinated by tinker's construct (I've seen a bit about the mod but had no idea you could start up from wood tools with it - setting myself the challenge to never make vanilla tools on the server ;p).
I usually play on hard because it presents extra challenges at the begining of the game (and does't make much of a difference later on since we can make nearly-invulnerable armour) and I think it's weird "not starving to death" but thats really just a matter of personal preference.

Have you not spotted the little endermen yet ?! I don't suggest upsetting them, their mothers come along soon after.
And trust me, you will die a few times! It floods with monsters in certain biomes!

I'm not convinced by what you've written, I have no idea where you're from, I don't think myself nor any of the other players on the server are bothered about videos too much. Also the age is borderline, that combined with the previous things I've mentioned I'm sorry but based on what you've posted I won't be allowing you onto the server.

I've seen your error, it's a mistake on my part! The server is actually running on 1.1.2 now due to a bug in the dev version of 1.1.3

We will be updating to 1.1.3 once it becomes a recommended build!

Hey, just ran across this post and it looks hopeful. I am 23 from the states. I've been playing FTB for 6 months now, I am a jack of all trades. I've just been looking around for servers that have a good player base and has people on often. Basically I am looking for a place to call home. I do have TS and when I play FTB I love the idea of being able to communicate easier with my fellow players. Hope to hear back from you.
