Java??

what is better java 64 or oracle i need to stop the lag i have 8 g ram total
and i'm allocating 2 for server and 2 for the game which leaves 4 for OS
which should be sufficient but its still a total lag fest. someone told me its a java issue but could not elaborate
can some one pls help

Don't run the server on the same machine that you're playing on.

I did it with my bukket and had no problem
and until recently i had no problem
i had to reformat my computer and now all i get is lag
