I've been slimed!

First time I played Minecraft, about a year ago or so, I had the hardest time finding slimes to dive into the wonderful world of redstone (specifically sticky pistons) and somehow got it into my head that slime is this precious resource.

So, when I started the world on my server, I purposely built my base at the bottom of three slime chunks in a row. And I set up spawning platforms every 3 levels from 6 to 40 within those chunks, and have it all feed into my auto-sorter.

Now, I'm sitting on literally thousands of slimes. I know I can use the blocks to make some kind of bouncy castle or something, but I'm wondering what other clever uses there are out there for the stuff. The way I play, if I have it, I gotta use it.

If you are on MC 1.10.2 and have Tinkers' Construct, look at the Slime Boots/Slime Slingshot combo.

The boots negate all fall damage unless you crouch while landing, and if you aim the slingshot at the ground and release it you will be flung a fairly long distance. Backwards

Just be sure to have the boots on when you do that or you will *splat* on landing. Also, rotate to face the direction of travel so you can avoud things like lava pools that will kill you.

Aw, man, that sounds awesome! But I'm 1.7.10 and no Tinkers

If it's worth it, I could add tinkers, but I think that's the one that lets you make your tools in parts, right? We started with infinity and that was one of the mods my people were complaining about being too overwhelming.

UGh, if only I had no friends. Minecraft wouldn't cost me $30 a month and I could do whatever I wanted, lol.

Exactly. And with the amount of mods we have on there, this was actually the cheapest option! It started off so small, but it just kept snowballing. I may have to consider hosting it myself in the future.
