Iron Pipe having multiple outputs (Unleashed 1.1.4 *picture*)

Setting up my first MFR tree farm, and iron pipes are acting up:

However many times I wrench it, it still only has one "solid" side... I want it to have two solids and one clear, so I can send all items in the same direction.

Is this a known bug? Did I miss something obvious?

(I am running Unleashed 1.1.4 with only the default mods and optifine (server is completely default))

The bahaviour was changed a while ago. Now that solid side is the side items go
