Details of the issue:

Hello, when I try to connect to a server, I get this error: "Failed to login: the authentication are currently down for maintenance". However, I checked on the mojang support website, but everything is good and I get this error for about three months. I do not know what to do
Please, I need your help.​

Yes, I can log into minecraft.net and I can join servers with the official Minecraft Launcher from minecraft.net

I guess I should have read your log 1st. The problem isn't authentication. There is mod difference between you and the server. First thing I would do is make sure you are on the same pack as the server (including pack version). Also, try to reload the mod pack (maybe use the curse voice client instead of the FTB client).

This is a private server between friends. And I am sure that the modpack I have is the same which is on the server.

Those mods are client-side mods. Problems is in MC server to mojang's authlib communication. Ask server admins to check network/firewall etc.

That is not in any way sort or form the same issue as the original poster - this is also a very old post, last response was 3,5 years ago - avoid posting on old posts.
