As the title states, I'm looking for some guidance on how to install applied energistics (AE) to mindcrack (i.e., recommended build which is 8.4.7 I believe)?
I'm liking how it can simplify crafting a crap load more than having tonnes of autocrafting tables dispersed all over the place.
Right now, I'm not sure what version is compatible with MC 1.4.7 as it seems that AE has moved on to 1.5.2 and 1.6, etc.
As I run my server on a separate machine, is installing the the mod the same process as it is for the server side?
Do I need to worry about ID conflicts, etc, or is it pretty straight forward in terms of installation?

P.S. I'll be using twilight forest to harvest quartz (by regenerating the entire twilight forest).
