How do you update modpack components?

I'm following DW20's LP S9, and in a recent episode he mentions that he has updated Env Tech in the modpack on his own computer. I've looked, but I can't see how to do it. I'd be grateful for some guidance, please?

Hiya Anton

You didn't mention which environment you're using to launch your packs, so I'm assuming the current standard (Twitch)

Use the ... menu button and choose Profile Options

UNselect "Locked"

You should now have buttons on the Installed Mods tab to delete or update mods.

Note: If you are on the Twitch launcher you will get an Update indicator on the Badge that represents the pack you're using. Some mods may go through several updates before Dire's pack gets an official FtB update.

Dire also sometimes puts updated mods in the pack to test them before okaying them for being added to the next update. You can sometimes get those versions by selecting "Beta" instead of "Release" in the "Profile Options" window, in the box that shows the "Preferred Release Type"

If you want to remain completely in sync with the videos you probably should wait for an FtB notification.

Thanks Hambeau. I've been looking out for an official modpack update - just in a hurry for the Crystal Lens! :).
