Hi. I was wondering if anyone can explain to me the difference between eu and mj and blue tricity...?

I know eu can be made using generators and can be stored in bat boxes and mfes.
I know I can convert that easily with an electric engine to mj... (Is there any way of storing it ?)
But what is an how do I make blue tricity?
Is it any different to mj? Are there really 3 types of power?!

Industrialcraft (IC2) uses EU power
Buildcraft and associated mods use MJ power
RedPower uses Blutricity power

IC2 power is stored in batbox/mf/mfsu/gregtech machines if u have GT
BC power is stored in redstone energy cells*
RP power is stored in Battery boxes

Rp power is made by the flat solar panels or thermopiles or wind turbines

*Edited cos I'm a derp

there are even more forms of energy. factorization adds it's own system, railcraft uses steam (but that is convertable to EU and MJ). and xycraft is soon going to release it's own energy transmission system.

the reason for that is, that all the mods were once standalone mods, and they needed some sort of energy system. that leaded to those different and more or less compatible energy systems. and now, there are the different systems coexisting, and it works just fine.

You can make MJs with BE with Blulectric Engines. And they are pretty awesome at 32MJ/t if you can supply them with enough BE.
