FTB Infinity Launch Error

  • Tech Support section is for getting help with FTB related problems. If there's a repeatable issue that can be labeled as a bug, then please use the issue tracker for the pack or the app at GitHub issue trackers - If there's no repository for a pack that means that the pack is old and/or will not be updated. Bugs for older packs will not be fixed, unless they are critical.

Launcher Version:

Modpack:
FTB Infinity
Modpack Version:
v1.3.4 & v1.4.1

Details of the issue:
Using Java 8 Update 45 (64-bit)
Seems to be something with the 64-bit java versions and this pack/launcher. I have used the recommended java version it gives me,and although it does seem to work well, it's a whole java version outdated, and not secure or fitting for my system. I had to update after I started experiencing problems the day after I downgraded to Java 7 Update 71, which is why I upgraded and am posting this. Error log below.

Only allocate upt to 4GB less=better, I can run all the packs with 2 GB and if you have java 7 you also need to set the permgen or whatever it was called, you can probably find the correct name and how to set it using google
