Hey guys,
So I've been playing an expert mode skyblock on Infinity Evolved (I started it before they released the pack, and I haven't really felt like restarting from scratch). Originally, there was no world lag. Then, as I got more stuff, there was a little bit, but now it's practically unplayable! Constant stuttering, regardless of what I put my settings on. Adding OptiFine helps for the few seconds that the game actually runs before it crashes.
I'm pretty sure my PC's not the problem, but here are the specs:
The server is running on a Lenovo ThinkCenter I had lying around (also a core i7). It's running Hyper-V with an Ubuntu Server 15.04 VM, and I've allocated 3Gb of RAM to the FTB server. I know it's not the problem, because when I copy the world files over to my PC and run it locally, I get the exact same performance.
It seems to me like there's something in my world that's causing the issue, but I'm not sure what it is, and I don't really feel like running around breaking my machines until I find the problem.
So, tl;dr, anyone have any ideas what random machines could be causing lag in my world? I can list the contents of my world as well, if necessary.
Thanks!
