Does a "Modern MindCrack" exist?

My friends and I used to play Mindcrack on a server we had. It most notably had gregtech, build craft, and industrialcraft 2. Those are the mods we used the most but we tapped into pretty much everything.

We are looking for a pack similar to this, gregtech not required though. We want that "feel" of gameplay, but we want it for a newer version of minecraft. The newer versions have added things we want to take advantage of like horses, and banners.

Does something like this exist? Or any pack that has machinery and automation aspects?

All the mod packs have automation aspects. It's what modded minecraft is for LOL

Gregtech isn't in 1.10 packs so don't go looking for that there, but seriously... Download a pack, and try it out. If you don't like the "feel" try another.

The mindcrack guys are still doing vanilla, so /shrug.. but there is a hermitcraft pack you could try.. But honestly, your best bet is either Infinity Lite (the 1.10 version.. still not thrilled about the "light" designation) or the Direwolf pack.

Crackpack is a thing for 1.7.10.

Or literally any kitchen sink pack sounds like it fits

Do you specifically need a 1.10 pack?

If you want a techie pack for 1.7.10 that is still maintained with a large community and don't mind a lot of hard-mode-ish recipes, Infitech2 is good. Its not an easy pack though and definitely the opposite of a kitchen sink.

The thread is still very active (14k posts) and should be relied on to answer questions and discuss ways to get things done.
