[Direwolf20][SSP] Problem with gold spawning?

Has anyone else had an issue with gold spawns in the direwolf pack (default configs). I seem to find plenty of the other resources diamond,copper,tin,xy and tc3 ores but little to no gold. Is there a issue with the ore spawn rates or is it just bad luck and seed?

Bad luck... I have tons of gold but little to no tin. also might want to try a different biome

Also the level you are mining at comes into it ore spawns have been tweaked by the TE config (check the file to see which levels would be best for which resources), but I believe gold was not adjusted so in your case I'd say it's just bad luck. I'm using the same config and I do have very little gold but it is very comparable to the vanilla amount it is just that in vanilla gold has almost no use so it builds up however running mods gold is a fairly well utilised resource. Also I tend to use TE processing and the rich slag method for tripling output is custom designed for gold lol
