Hey guys I was just hoping for some help. I am playing on the ftb monster pack and would like to make a base with a techno base. Also it would be good if it was functional but I really want a tecno feel to it. If anyone has ideas please help me cause I am really bad at building

There are lots of examples of some very nice designs(mostly fantasy/midieval stuff, but some more futuristic stuff too).

I highly recommend searching through this thread for base design ideas, if that doesn't give you ideas I don't know what will.

Glass. Lots and lots of glass.
Walls. Floor. Ceiling. The works.
Use a dark material [basalt/obsidian ect] for the edges.
Then fluid-ducts with lava/molten glowstone for strip lights.

To expand on this.
Glass is key.
Seriously, Glass just looks so beautiful in bases, whether it be a sky base or a water base!
