I just spent 10 minutes tracking down the configs folder in my FTB install in order to disable IC2 sounds (being new enough to mods that I'd just recently realized that IC2 sounds are disableable, and 'green' enough to how mods are set up that I didn't even realize there was a configs folder), and it got me wondering... any chance that, for commonly-changed configs (sound settings, lag-reduction settings [making portals not transparent, ex.]), the launcher could implement an UI?

Or, at the very least, could we get a button on the Mod Pack Editor screen that causes the configs folder to be opened (similar to the "Open Texture Packs" button in-game)?

Thanks. And, thanks for the modpack. Now, time to take my own advice and switch off transparent portals.

Im pretty sure I replied to this exact same thread else were. However my opinion is still the same.

Anything the FTB team can do to make the launcher more versatile and easier to use is alright with me. A button for opening the configs folder (Or at least the "instance folder" like MultiMC has) would be very nice.

(You did reply to it elsewhere- i accidentally categorized my original post under "mod pack", not "launcher", so posted anew here.)
