cloudflare worse then useless?

So I write a long post, complicated explenations...

And the site goes down... in the normal function of the world, hitting refresh posts the message when it comes back up.

With cloudflare the message is gone forever.

Well if we didn't run cloudflare things would be a lot worse... we can take up to 50% load off our servers by using cloudflare during peak times. Also I find it hard to believe that is the reason your post was lost, if you simply hit the back button then your browser *should* get the post back its really nothing to do with the server seen as it has not been sent to it at that point, i'll have to look into why the site was down as i've just got online so i'm not really sure what happened to it.

Nope, cloudflare uses intrusive java, the back button goes out, there is no page to go back to after the java forced redirrect.

if it was only the popup that says "page is dead" ... but instead a complete refresh to the "page is offline" page, with the post lost.

It does not seem to be doing the job you folks are paying for, it NEVER has a cashed copy of any page for me.
