Chunk Loading or Something else?

So we are having problems setting up a 2nd Lava pump to the overworld.

Having tried all forms of chunk loading, but alas, unless i have my friend in nether and myself in overworld or vice-versa the pump will not work.
What is strange I have this Exact same setup at my base, occupying a different lava lake about 500m north of this spot.

Oh and since that pic we have moved the Pump to the center of the chunk & off the corner.

cant really tell from the map but are the lava source blocks the pump trying to pull from within your chunk loading area? i've seen this happen where you have the pump in the middle of the chunk loading area but the lava source blocks are right out of reach.

if thats the case you can relocate or just increase the chunk loading distance

yeah. i have no idea what the issue is. what is worse is after some trouble shooting there i've noticed the Chunk loader on my frame quarry & my original lava lake have also stopped loading. It's like random chunk loaders serverwide just seem to fail and not work anymore. everything in the overworld using chunk loaders seem to still work, but spot loaders are no use.

It is possible to set a maximum number of chunks that can be loaded by one player. Maybe you hit that limit. Ask your server admin.

i am server admin lol, we are far from the chunk loading cap as we are still getting things started on our new Ultimate Pack server world

It could be a bug with ender-tanks or a different mod in the update (chunk loaders) trying to discourage nether pumping. This is a weird problem.

try a tesseract and see if the same problem.

I've had issues where the chicken chunks, chunk loaders don't seem to work 100% of the time. This was mostly with railcraft stuff and was a little while ago but maybe try to use a chunk loader from a different mod and see if that fixes the issue?

Is it possible that the pump already mined all the lava source blocks in the loaded chunk? That way, it would work while you are there, as it's pulling lava from adjacent chunks, but not while the only loaded chunk is the empty one.
