So I am deciding to set myself some challenges in direwolf20 (one of them being create a fully functioning AE system) and just wanting to know if there are any other challenges you would like to see me try and do, basically a to do list style thing

For the challenges that I have taken to do click here http://pastebin.com/B3GxQs5m

So you can see my adventures in feed the beast click here http://www.youtube.com/user/quickhakker

1 - Get EVERY breed of Bee (without using Gendustry) - for added hardness, each bee species into an Alveary if it's own.

2 - Make a max size big reactor - I think thats 32x32x32 (unless it's config'd down).

3 - Get Spiderman, Superman and Sonic the Hedgehog (not telling you which mod or how) :D

4 - Fully automate the production and running of 5x ore processing (hint: Rotarycraft)

1: Get EVERY kind of bee, including Jaded Bees if I can find a way, and have EVERY Trait for bees ready and on hand

2: Build Max Size Big Reactor

3: Build a badass house

4: Get to the Dark Underworld Place

5: Kill a Wither, then find a novel way to automate killing the Wither

6: Find a Witch Hut and find a way to make a Witch Farm

7: Make a Villager Breeding system that allows me to pick what villagers I want to keep

8: Find a copy of Every MystCraft Symbol without cheating

9: Beat both the Ender Dragon and Wither in one life, on hardcore mode

10: Do challenges 1-8 on hardcore as well some time

11: Refugee to Regent challenge, Ho!

Just a few thoughts
1. Don't use any normal tools i.e. start with tinkers tools
2. Turn natural generation off and play on hard mode
3. Only farm using mods, like using ic2 crops instead of plan vanilla farming
4. Don't make any diamond equipment
5. Make an animal pen/farm for every individual animal
6. Don't live in a planes biome
7. Start with tier one items from every mod instead of getting heavily invested in just one mod at a time, and the progress from there
8. Use a clip board to keep track of goals
9. Automate all of your farms, both animal and food
10. Only use chisiled blocks to build with
11. Build a beacon out of only colbat ore
12. Make an elaborate "Goldberg" machine to be able to access your base.....
Those are just a few ideas, best of luck!

They're great! :D
But your lack of punctuation and spelling needs improving.

Pick one or more mods that you use heavily. Don't use them, or just certain parts of them, for your next world. This can force you to find different ways to do things that might end up being more interesting. My current world I'm doing that with the TiC smeltery (so pretty much no worthwhile tools from that mod or early ore doubling) and Buildcraft quarries. My last one I did no TE machines except for a dynamo to power a rolling machine. Other things I've done in the past are no lava power (I used to use that almost exclusively) and no MFR.

I dont plan on adding any more mods (may however bring over gravestone from magic farm and the airship mod from horizine), I like the idea of doing tinker stuff, i prefer digging into a mountain anyway so the plains biome will be no problem, i fancy doing some mystcraft stuff anyway so thats gonna be fun

When transferring items, liquid, power, etc long distances, do not use Ender Anything (chests, tanks, etc).

Instead, use Carts (Steve's, Railcraft, Vanilla, etc) and either Nether Portals, Mystcraft Portals, or the Improved Portals 3 or whatever the mod's name is.

That's not saying don't use any pipes/wiring/etc ANYWHERE.....just don't use them to transfer things between bases/farms/etc. Instead of linking AE networks/sorting systems by the Quantum thingie and/or Enderchests/tanks, do whatever you will for local networks/systems/etc, but any transfer between networks must be done by carts.

Not the fastest, not the easiest, but it should be a fun challenge.

When my laptop gets here (stupid Hard Drive failed, should be coming back from HP soon), I intend to do this very thing.

Automating everything through carts makes an awesome challenge, makes you invest in a train cart station (I did at least, made things hella easier), makes you use Railcraft more, and at the end of your track automation, you feel so accomplished. Really awesome way to do things.

I think this is a worthy challenge of everyone, honestly. Except the power, as that's a bit hard to do any other way(until the latest Dynamic Liquid Tanks 2 is added to the modpacks, which I'm using already, that makes this very possible for me, since I can just send it as a fluid).

While that mod looks awesome, I don't see anything in it that would have anything to do with transferring power.

Although I'm guessing that's what you meant.

when I said power I was more referring to Railcraft

http://railcraft.wikispaces.com/Energy+Cart+(Cart)

which, granted, is only EU.

If you aren't using EU, you have a few options......transfer Lava, transfer Energy Cells, various batteries, etc. Not the best, but.....

I meant Dynamic Liquid Tanks 2, yes. It recently added a fluid that is a battery(wat), storing 10K RF IIRC per bucket.[DOUBLEPOST=1391346190][/DOUBLEPOST]
Automate a TiC smeltry. (Hint: TE)
Hint: That can be done with vanilla as well, but fluid piping can't really be done with just vanilla, but any fluid piping would do.

Ultimate Challenge: Learn computer Craft. :D

Honestly, try doing everything with Engineer's Toolbox. It's such a fun mod that it's worth trying out. Even if you have to add it to the pack.

One interesting challenge coming straight from BTW:

Hardcore buckets.
More or less, you cant move water sources, this means that water is scarce and there is a reason to build near it.
It's actually very fun :3
