I'm assuming it's cryotheum but I want to know for sure.
according to the spreadsheet, it depends.
Oh, thanks for that spreadsheet, helps a lot.
EDIT: BTW for example 5x5, that's 5x5 on the outside right?, so there would be 3x3 in the middle right?
i believe so, not 100% though.
Yes. Sizes are marked as including the casings.
The reactors in the spreadsheet, they're all passively-cooled correct? Any similar tests/infos for actively-cooled?
Its the exact same mechanics in terms of cooling materials.
If you are looking for turbine information:
You should go read this thread that deals with very same question more or less and I explain the use of the turbine spreadsheet in detail:
I know the topic is a little bit old. But why is Liquid Ender tagged as invalid (https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1H7sTTGX-Fx9Iz48NSDFoxmf3leq5x6bi5QCOfNkKKCU/edit#gid=0)?
Or is it just Resonant Ender? Is there an up to date list?
Don't take any stock in that list. It is ancient and out of date I think.
I don't think people uses these kind of lists anymore. Not since we got access to tools like this:
Basically pick a size that you can fit into your build. Then start optimizing the reactor until you are satisfied.
whoa... I've been away for a while, it seems. This is an awesome tool.
