so iv come to a point playing ftb where im trying power sources i havent in the past, so in my new world. using ftb unleashed + i added in gregtech on hard difficulty.. im attempting to use wind power, and as we know greg disapproves of this but i dont of him so, to craft them it goes through an assembly machine and takes 320 seconds at 8 eu per tick, for 1 generator and 4 carbon mesh. my problem lies in how can i split multiple crafts across an array of machines? this is to be done automatically without stuffing up the system in some way im at a loss as to how i would go about doing this as applied energistics doesnt seem to balance its crafts and assigns it to a single machine at random. im not sure if its possible but im just at a loss at the moment if anyone has any suggestions as to save me 100s of man hrs waiting for the machine id appreciate it.. and removing gregtech is not an option for those that dont approve of the mod.

thank you in advance

Tartarus.. I mean at work. Same thing really.
Buildcraft pipes split things 50-50 at a junction, so with non- logistic pipe you can divide them equally.
Fz Routers can send to multiple machines at the same time.

How many are you making anyway? (my gut feeling is you're better off upgrading them to gas turbines)

Also take a look at overclocking the assembler.

the issue isnt splitting it 50/50 its the two parts the generator, and the 4 fibers to each machine. so i dont think buildcraft would be viable in turms of splitting them with 5 parts to 1 machine, altho i could be wrong ill give it a whirl, and oh im figuring into the 500-600ish range of them. just because iv never used them and its different. i just cant justify quadtripling the power requirment of the assembler for twice the speed but then again its an option just would be an insane power sink for one machine. wouldnt be so bad if the overclockers could be removed from the assembler..

ME Interface using the crafting pattern you want at the machine should do it, haven't used ME crafting in a while, but I think that should work. Although you are on Unleashed and not sure if that's available in the version.

try cyclic assemblers? if your using unleashed, you should have thermal expansion, which includes the cyclic assembler. Its pretty much an insta crafting table, with configurable input/outputs and a buffer inventory. It also needs MJ to run, so you need to convert EU to MJ somewhere. You have to configure them with schematics to craft the items you want (and they do handle fluids as well, directly piped in). as for routing of your items...thats the trick now isnt it ;) You could try transposers and transfer pipes from extra utilities...they work like bc pipes but they do not distribute items evenly. they do however buffer items, meaning once a machine is filled, it wont drop stuff all over the map.

the reason AE does not work is because when you que into craft an item it assigns that task to a specific machine, at random iv tried to get it to distribute it does not. a cyclic assembler wont help me because the issue lies in feeding the generator + 4 carbon fibers to a single machine then moving to the next so im not sitting there waiting 320 seconds and i can have it assign the job to say 10 assembly machines.. thank you for your suggestions tho

Has ProjectRed ripped off the sorting machine yet? (assuming you have PR)
If you give each assembler a different colour, that sorting machine can give an perfectly equal distribution with ease.
The buildcraft equal/random distribution only works if you're making a craptonne of windmills- there will always be one of two bits left unassembled just because of the random nature.

If you're making that many windmills- definitely take a look at the gas turbines, or even the super-turbine multiblock thingy.
Or the compact windmills mod to cut down the lag.

Personally I'd just rig up 2-4 assemblers with some hoppers/chutes and leave it running while I work on something else.
An AE interface could then feed into this if needed.

Emerald Pipes in blocking mode will output items is a specific ratio. Diamond Pipes will output in a semi-random distribution weighted on how many times a specific item appears in the list.
