I don't hate Gregtech, I just dislike it greatly. And I love the new changes, as it is the beggining of the end of a mod I dislike.

I've had a love-hate relationship with GT since I first played with it.

me aswell, but for me it was mostly hate, and now it's defintely hate

I don't hate the new GT per say so much as I feel its at a point it just needs to go become a total conversion mod on its own like BTW or TFC.

It only really works well now if GT is your main focus and you build your pack around that. If GT is in a pack as a side thing it just does so much that you will spend so much extra effort to work around it that you kind of get forced into it now.

I like Gregtech. I just don't like the new direction he's taking with overcomplicating the starting recipes and whatnot. I've said before, it doesn't make any sense to require tools and metal plates to make a simple sword but then allow someone to build a fusion reactor. If he wants to go the "everything is realistic" route, he should stick to a low tech - no machines route.
