Hey all, i'm running argraian skies 2.1.9 i cant get any lava to flow from the crucibles or the items ducts to work. Is anyone else see this? what am i doing wrong. I have a duct connected to the side of a crucible filled with lava. Arrow pointing to flow out. the other end is connected to my smeltery set to flow in.

suggestions?

Thanks

Got a lever or servo?

Oh and the itemducts have to feed in the top.....redstone signal for the lava output.

Ummm I may be missing something, is the cobble not going into the crucible directly? Where is the pulverized coming into play? Also as a side note, you have a servo to pull out of the barrel too?

You have to remember ducts only auto extract from TE machines or mods that use related TE API's. Ex Nilio is not one of these mods.
Plus you don't need a serve every time, of course it is more convenient space wise but you can make it extract with a redstone signal, a lever will do.

Or redstone blocks, 'cause you know - fuck efficiency.

Efficiency is not a thing when it comes to AS, you get redstone out of bleeding sand which is infinite TY to a cobble gen.

I say use 2 redstone blocks for good measure. My comment wasn't about efficiency either, crafting a lever and placeing it is easier then crafting a servo, placing it and then setting it.
A redstone block is probably easier then a lever in AS, levers do afford more control though but most machines don't need to be turned off except in the case where your ME is overflowing with diamonds.

I remember someone asking how they should process their ore chunks for maximum efficiency they wanted to know if they shuould craft them all to gether and hammer for a little extra metal. I had to remind them that their resource was infinite and you can't get much more efficient then infinite.

AS is not really hard, but it is unforgiving when you make mistakes. Also the quests involve a lot of waiting and automation savvy.

You know what, I'd like to see a sort of sky map like AS but instead of ex nihlio providing resource you get your metals from meteorcraft meteors. But you'd have to test how metiorcraft handles the void, they might need solid ground to impact.

Or, you could take a TiCo chisel to a piece of redstone, and get yourself something that functions identically to a redstone block. The trade-off being that I don't think that it's reversible (tbh, I've never tried. Lack of redstone wasn't an issue for me after making a bloodwood farmer).
