Did you put the recipe in twice?

A red background means that something is wrong with this Recipe. Take it out and put it again in the Pattern Machine and look if its the Same Recipe in NEI.

When you have updated to Ultimate 1.0.2 than you will find a lot of Recipe changes from Gregtech.

If you're on SMP, it could be a config conflict between you and the server. If the server has changed the Advanced Solars config to easy recipes, then irradient uranium isn't a thing.

Also, Chre903, Advanced Solars has precisely nothing to do with Gregtech. Nada.

They are very hard to make, so i automatically assumed its from GregTech, sorry
