So I'm having issues with the crafting sticking on items. Copper cables, iron plates, iron ingots.

Basically the crafting monitor shows all the items it's crafting, but it's just stationary and non of the are being sent to the machines. It's always an issue with items being sent to machines (all of which are IC2).

Resetting the item I'm crafting (medium voltage solar array) sorts out the issue.

I'm paying on the direwolf modpack... can't think of any more info to include.

When I played on Unleashed I didn't have this issue.

Hope I got this in the right section!

Thanks!

are the interfaces directional? (aka do the block type have arrows pointing to the machine they are supposed to put them into? or are they the cover plater interfaces?)

Arrows pointing into the machines. I also set them without arrows. Same issue both ways.

What is it that you are crafting?
I can't remember how, but I know there is a way to make it so an AE system will always have at least <x> items in the system, and (assuming it knows how to craft them) it will restock if you use some. Maybe try doing that?

Yeah i know how to do that, but the issue is still going to persist in one form or another.

Well not really, unless you make a metric butt load at a time.
If you are getting stuck rubber (for example) and you have a stack ALWAYS in your AE system. Then you will be able to make 1 of the medium voltage solar arrays and not use all that rubber (if I am correct in thinking the crafting recipe doesn't use too much :p)

It's several things that's the issue. It seems to jam up on anything that has to head out of a machine. I guess I could go through every single item and force it to have a stack, but as I add more machines it's gonna be a pain.

Ok... time to work with actually fixing the issue then, not just using dirty workarounds...
Are you using DW20 1.7 or 1.6.4, AE and AE2 are pretty different ;)
If DW20 1.6.4: Do you have an ME interface ON TOP of the machine, pointing downwards, with the crafting pattern in, and an ME import bus BELOW the machine?
If DW20 1.7, I am not an expert on AE2, but I believe it is the same sort of set up, but you can use ME Export busses now instead...

1.6.4 and yes to everything you said, the import bus is on the side.
Try with the import bus below? Machines are usually ISided, meaning certain sides do certain things, top is the input, bottom is the output, and sides would be for batteries

Call me crazy, but if it requires the machine at the back (I don't know IC2 experimental well) it doesn't look like it's hooked up to anything

Ok... And I'm just curious. If you request to make the items, without crafting the end product (lets say it's a copper ingot) will it put the ore into the macerator, and cook up the thing afterwards, or no?

So I switched the blocking mode on one of the machines (extractor sticky resin into rubber) and it was stuck on rubber but as soon as I switched the blocking mode option the resin dropped right in there. This doesn't fix it any other time though.[DOUBLEPOST=1415013162][/DOUBLEPOST]Yeah, and even if I do it manually the crafting process seems to continue on.

Well I don't know too much about IC2. Is it possible to use Thermal Expansion machines?

Yeah I mean there's a bunch of ways of getting round it, but really I'm looking for a solution to the direct problem.... which I may have found. Post in 10 mins if it doesn't get stuck again.[DOUBLEPOST=1415013989][/DOUBLEPOST]Ah, nevermind. Thought it could have been the transformer upgrades in the machines. But, nope still stuck.
