Advices for a new, small server.

Hello there,

I would like to host my own, small server (10 people limit). I bought hosting service for a month before:
3GB SSD,
1GB RAM

I have already hosted FTB Unleashed server and it ran smoothly with ~7 players and 4 ages with chunkloaders so the hardware works pretty good for a 10 people limit, however I had to close the server because my friends were overwhelmed with FTB Unleashed content and I am looking for a good pack to start with.

Which modpack would you recommend to host a small, 10 people server with not so good knowledge about MC mods (still they do want mods to be there)?

I think you would be best going for a modpack such as Ampz or FTB Lite, or you could try Tech World first then move on to Magic World. If none of these look suitable, try one of the tekkit modpacks as they are typically smaller than some of the FTB ones.
