What plugins do you have installed, how many people, what are your server specs, provide your server.log too, provide your forgelogs as well.

Then we can see what is causing lag.

These are very onerous server plug-ins: Vault, Essentials, EssentialsProtect, EssentialsSpawn, EssentialsAntiBuild, EssentialsChat. All these essentials plug-ins you can by only one plug replaced: Commendbook

Further, it could very well be, that is the RAM too little. I played on a server with 3 Direwolf 20 people, the server already needed a good 12 GB of RAM when no one was online. And monsters and Direwolf are my I both like Modpakete.

PS: How then do you have installed Cauldron? I get there only imme ERRORS: (- Have there possibly a Nood friendly guide?

And please excuse my bad English, I never learned it and use the Google Translator.

Here's a somewhat good guide to installing Cauldron: http://cauldron.minecraftforge.net/wiki/install-guide/

Download the installer version and run it with --installServer. It will extract the server .jar after installing. Then run the server .jar to run the server. If your server has Mobiuscore, make sure it is at least v1.2.2, which can be found here: http://www.curse.com/mc-mods/minecraft/mobiuscore
