Guys, the question arose. In the quest # 76 (or 78) is called Time to get some steel.
In the quest you need to make a bronze blast furnace, I did all the preparatory quests and in the last one where you need to burn the furnace itself it is written: "This furnace is deprecated use bricked blast furnace". To the question itself, how do I complete this quest? And get the first steel to move on?

So how do I move forward on the quest? And what would a Bricked Blast Furnace need a compressor. Will the craft be redesigned in future updates?

I did not understand what you meant. Therefore, I rolled back the version below 1.5.x.x in order to pass this quest.

Alas, he did not what I did not hesitate, all the same quest for bronze only at the end cut off the craft of the furnace itself.

Hey. I'd like to say thank you for this modpack. My progress is so damn slow (could be me ;)) and I often find myself doing something which I can't do atm, but your quest system always gets me back into progress. I ma still in the stone age. Those dark nights are rly fun, but sometimes I wish there wasn't a bed to skip the night. In addition to that I wish there would be something usefull which you can get only in the night. So that you can't sleep those monsters away. atm I can just avoid any danger from monsters.
Anway I do have fun! Every little step feels so rewarding. I love it!

Edit: How do I finish quest which I already done? Sometimes I craft an item like a "Part Builder". I already build the item but I can't finish the quest with the already existing item. Instead I have to craft it again. Sometime quest have 5 steps and you already finished the last one. But in order to finish the quest you have to do the first 4 steps. How can I finish those quest without doing everything again?

:) Yes, you re right, this modpack is amazing and slow progress is not only up to you. I am playing this modpack since November last year and I am not even in half way to finish quests. I only get to the Moon two weeks ago :p!
Dark nights bring up difficulty to the game, but only in the beggining. Later with Nightvision potions or Batbackpack doesnt really matter. Sleeping is only the option for you. I personally sleep through the night only when on minning expedition.
About quests, its only happen with few first quests, when you ll reach LV stage it wont be problem. Actually, looks like redoing same crafting steps is in the nature of this modpack;). From time to time I am getting tired of Gregtech recipes, and I go to TF for some adventure/fight or stick to Thaumcraft (which is totally usefull). Anyways I really really enjoy this modpack, even after almost one year.

Am I missing something with Radon? Need it for Quantum star/eye, NEI shows default greg recipe of plutonium 239 ingots and tiny piles uranium 238 in chem reactor, yet I can't get it to work. Tried in both large and regular chem reactor and I'm sure I'm using the right isotopes, as I've checked my inputs with NEI. Is it supposed to be locked behind Proteus dust and showing the default recipe in NEI is just a bug? Or is the chem reactor recipe just bugged?
