So after a lot of comfusion going around, I want to know how Optifine works with everyone. Does it increase your fps or does it kill it? It seems that everyone experiences it differently, so I'm interested in an average and if it could be recommended to use.

So, I was starting out in Horizons, walking around through a Magic Forest, suddenly BOOM! Crash. Load the game back up, world not showing up... It's still in the saves folder, but it doesn't show up ingame. I didn't have anything, so it's not a big loss, but is there a fix for this? Or I'll just...

I'm not asking for anything, I'm just wondering if any mod author is that fast to already have a mod ready for 1.7...? I doubt that tho, the only thing we might have is an emerald tools mod :D

Let's imagine this situation: You've got a world, and you have some kind of mod installed which adds another dimension. Let's say Twilight Forest. What would happen if you travelled to the twilight, and then you would remove the Twilight forest mod and load up the world again. This is different...

I read that Jagged works like Stonebound but the other way around, with more speed/damage when high dura. First off, is this true? Secondly, do both effects apply? I tried to make a netherrack cactus sword, and it worked. But I haven't tested the damage and such yet.

So, I'm currently playing the CTM map Uncharted Territories 3. It's really nice and all that, but I'm wondering how adding some mods to a CTM map would work. And which ones would those be? I'm thinking something basic, like Tinkers Construct, not all the mechanics changing industrial stuff mods...
