Server is on what kind of comp? Mac? Where is client located in relation to the server, same network or on another network? From your description it sounds like you've tried a client connection on the server computer. Try connecting via the ip address of the computer from the same computer...

I don't have special characters like : and = in my password so it can't be that for myself :P It's started happening again so going to see what I can figure out by adding debugging.

I just checked my config files on both my server and client, they are identical, still have Mass Fabricator show up in NEI but no recipe is visible.

Since I downloaded the code, hasn't happened at all, which either means is fixed or it's a super annoying intermittent bug. I could toss in some debug code on likely candidate locations for issues and provide it if anyone has it happen on a consistent basis still.

Thank you sir, looks like logindata is saved to the install folder btw. I checked my desktop at home, I do not see any logindata saved outside of the install folder

Have you tried starting server with a new world and seeing if issue persists to the new world? It could be a corruption within your world files.

My Windows desktop works fine, are you also using a *nix client? Which java do you have running (both 6 and 7 seem to have issue for me)?

I renamed my world when I first made it so I could be 100% sure which world is being used. The folder named "world" (likely) is where your world is located, the files in there contain all the details of it. server.properties has a line that dictates what the world is called and thereby which...

Unfortunately it did not. I started up launcher just now and still showing same error (profile is defaulted to new, blank space is there for the profile which would be me in list). I checked logindata and the hash code is still there, it looks like the launcher recognizes there is a username...

Are you getting any error messages? If you copy all the server files as you downloaded them, it should work fine. Confirm you are setting it for binary transfer and not ascii in your ftp client btw.

I just rebooted and seemed to work fine, only changes are the launcher updated to 1.0.7 today (hopefully fix) and switched back to java 7. If issue is gone, will mark as solved later.

I don't edit anything. This laptop has an issue with CMOS battery but that shouldn't drop the login on launcher, that would be a weird reason.. it's odd as well because the information is there until I reboot. Going to try logging out and back into laptop and see if it persists across sessions.
