So I'm looking into buying a server (not renting from someone. Mine crafted.net for example) any suggestions for the server? It's going to be holding 20-30 players.

I want to start a ftb server for about 20-30 people. And hosting isn't a great option. Does anyone know how much ram I will need. And the best server for me. I don't want lag. (Lol) however I don't want to be spending like 1k for it. Just looking for some suggestions. :)
