    Probably Canvas Bags, Really simple to make and AFAIK the only real early/mid game inventory expansion option, you can also dye them different colors to help keep them organized. (Golden Bag of Holding takes QED)

    According to the wiki http://ftb.gamepedia.com/GregTech_5/Mining_and_Processing there are two different veins, a Magnatite with gold and a Magnatite with iron.

    Yea, but I think the "Glider Wings" can still be crafted. Last I looked you could make those wings but then not combine them into the Hang Glider. Super fun to find that out the hard way!

    There are several auto crafting tables you could use. Or if you just want to use your ME system, have a redstone bus emit signal when iron nugget >= 9 that activates an export bus set to always craft iron ingot which gets deposited back to the system. Edit: then to activate your alchemy iron...
