Why does eating cooked steak cause heat stroke? I have never heard of anyone getting heat stroke by eating warm food.

It's an issue with the modpack version 1.0.4 not having the main menu textures. The post above has quoted someone telling the fix.

The resources are not there, I forced updated to see if it would fix the issue but it did not.

For me the main menu loads no textures, but everything else loads fine.

I figured out why it happens. It happens when I fail to connect to ftb.happydiggers.net:25574 because I don't have the correct microblocks. Then if I try to start or create a world, it fails. If I don't try to join the server, the world loads up fine. I have not removed or added any mods...

I am actually having an issue when trying to load any world, it fails to load and takes me back to the menu screen, if I try to create a new one, or open the other one, it freezes the game, but no crash report is generated. From reading it, it appears to be an issue with tropicraft...

This is an issue with the launcher you are using. Close whatever you have opening "OpenAL32.dll", this incluedes other instances of the MultiMC launcher. The launcher won't start if it's core files are being used. If that doesn't work, restart your computer, there may be a residual process...

Profit is profit, no matter how you earn it.

Getting mods to use for this contest is very difficult... most mod authors have a clause that states that you cannot profit off their work. So most mods you cannot use in a contest.
