I think stripe pipes should be given as a buildcraft quest reward. This way players cant abuse the stripe pipes but can still obtain like 1 or 2 to make some boring work automated Sorry for bad english i hope u can get what i mean

Go to the nether get a villager(farmer) and be friends with him/her. Then ask for aid they shall give u sugar cane

I agree that some of the receipts are just way too grindy, making the pack a little boring down the road. Still I gonna say its a good and fun pack, just need a little bit tweaking. About the automation of cobble gen, look into stripe pipes from buildcraft, at least thats the way i used
