    Seems like updating the mods wouldn't be too hugely hard. It's updating all the Tweaker recipes and the HQM book and getting the map redone and rebalanced and...that would be a ginormous pain. :)

    It always felt a bit too 'magical' for this pack in my view. Of course, I realize how it feels to me is not the guiding principle, but I do enjoy a good sci fi pack. There's lots of magic packs, but darn few packs that revolve around science; mad or otherwise.

    Yeah. I speculate that Minecraft's worldgen function automatically creates a 'Beach' technical biome every time an Ocean borders any other biome.     Yeah, I've noticed this too. Beach biomes seem to be immune to the taint creep. I'm not sure if this is just because that one biome simply escaped being reclassified to Tainted Land as an oversight, or if there's something in Thaumcraft that just makes it not swappable (like Ocean biomes).

    I absolutely loved this modpack, right up until Sync bugged out and dropped me into the Void when I died, erasing my world. I'd totally jump at a 1.7.10 version though. I'll probably play it again sometime, but I really need to decompress first. Epic ragequit ensued. I'd come so far. :)
