I get Emeralds from mining I also get loads of Emeralds and ender pearls from the treasure bags dropped in my blaze farm

I agree FTB are way to late to the party here, there are far better and more established kitchen sink packs out there, that have had 6 months or more of work put into them. Feels to me like it got to the point where after almost a year of 1.7 and constant "the packs are just around the corner...

It's a real shame what's happened to the DW20 pack this time round, or rather what's not happened. You should be ok with transfering your world over though, just make a copy of your world before you try it, then no harm done.

I absolutely loved Agararian Skies. probably my favourite pack of all time, and I cannot wait for the 1.7.10 version. Jadedcat is very talented when it comes to modpacks, but I do still stand by my point that FTB as a whole has lost is way.

Why is it every time a post is made that critizes ftb in any way these white knights come out with there entitlement crap, I have not played a ftb pack since unleashed I feel in no way entitled, the only reason I got here was from the launcher when I checked to see if there was an update to...

Oh my, how many more of these partenerships are we going to see, they get announced then you never here anything more about them. It seems whatever FTB get's involved in, never get's carried to fruition, Instead of trying to diversify all the time, I think they would be best served concentrating...

maybe, but its called weekly news for a reason, even if there is not much to say, just a small post to let people know how things are going would help. Seems like the same thing always happens with FTB they make these grand posts with big ideas and changes,and how things will be better this time...

Looks like FTB has ground to a complete halt, we have not had a weekly news post for almost 2 months now and most of packs have not been updated for the same amount of time

The MFE now outputs 512 EU I believe the Electrolyzer is a 32 or 128 EU machine either way you need to either install a transformer upgrade into it or use a step down converter

Why even bother downloading it in the 1st place?? Just use the FTB universal configs and build a pack to suit your needs?

I think they have already been left hanging with the total silence from the ftb team the last few months

Cant find the changelogs still, have they been posted here yet? Would rather not update without them?

Phil what I mean is while you are on the latest release then great develop away and fix bugs, but when a new release comes out then surely development shifts towards that, otherwise you are just going to fall further and further behind.

And this is exactly what I meant and what I would do as well if I wrote mods. Why continue development on a platform will be obsolete in a few months Forge said it would take them a month to update, it's been 2 weeks since 1.7 so let's say a month at a push for forge, then it's all systems go
