    Open IE AutoWorkbench crash

Summary of the problem IE AutoWorkbench crash Pack Version 1.4.1 What is the bug? When attempting to make arc furnace electrodes with the Immersive Engineering autoworkbench multiblock, the machine causes a crash (java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: javafx/util/Pair) several seconds after being...

Open Railcraft iron plates recipe conflict

Summary of the problem Railcraft iron plates recipe conflict Pack Version 1.3.2 What is the bug? Railcraft iron plates use a 2x2 square of iron ingots as their recipe. This conflicts with vanilla iron trapdoors, which are what get made instead. This in turn means that the Railcraft electric...

    [1.7.10] Material Energy^4

It's that way because the modpack author wanted to change the mod's balance. In that light, reverting the change would be cheating as far as the modpack is concerned.

I wonder about the quarry myself, especially since you get handed some ender markers early on. As for the pump, the workaround is to move your reactor. If you put it on top of the observatory or high up in the chem lab, you're probably fine. Alternately, put it inside a Compact Machine. As...

Did you try it? Sometimes Chisel does know how to access other mods' blocks, especially if those are ore-dictionary compatible (as is the case with XU coloured cobblestone). Having a problem myself, though: Trying to get a server running, and our quest books simply do not work. It's a Windows...

If you're at the point that you can open a bunch of greater reward bags (however you're getting them), one of the potential rewards is the Thermal Mining spatial cell. Shiny (i.e. platinum) ore can be found there. As for the mob farm, anywhere you can build a suitable space is good to put a...

One is easy enough: If you hang onto it until late game (well into Lost In Time), a quest will be unlocked in the Secrets chapter that will give you a large storage cell full of them.

As an alternate, relatively-simple, if high-energy means of producing cobalt, iron plus hydrogen in the fusion chamber will yield cobalt.

Cryotheum is also handy as previously noted; but as for the lava - when you go down to the level of the Rotunda with the silver and lead, you are in fact climbing down beside a big lava tank that goes all the way down. Try digging around on the layer above, behind the ladder, to gain access to...

You don't need to be standing directly atop your tombstone. The trick is that its hitbox is flat on the ground, NOT upright like its visual. If you aim down, you can break it.

For the first, go into Journeymap options (J by default, then the button with a bunch of sliders) and there should be an option in there for death waypoints (the Waypoints dropdown, uncheck Create Deathpoints). If all you want to do is remove that particular beam, instead go into Waypoints...

Two of the community spatial areas - Endside and Amusement Park - have villagers in quantity. Amusement Park for certain has spawners there. Just don't break them! Wasn't aware one way or the other that breeding was nonfunctional. That's perplexing. I don't know enough about vanilla villager...

    [1.7.10] Material Energy^4

Has anyone used Aura Cascade for anything that couldn't be (more easily) done with the other mods in the pack? I'm somewhat curious about it, but I don't really know how to get started, and as there aren't (yet?) any quests focusing on it as there are for some other mods, I don't even have that...

Even if those blocks permitted spawning, the whole place around initial spawn is Sky biome (as is, I believe, the End in vanilla). The only thing that can spawn there is Endermen. If they happen to appear, they're not an immediate threat unless you try to get into a staring contest.

It's a shapeless recipe. I'm putting the chemicals in the exact place shown in NEI. This works fine for shaped recipes, but this is specifically tagged "shapless"[sic].

Is there a reliable way to get oxeye daisies? They're needed for the Spectre imbue for one of the quests, but bonemeal on grass only seems to spawn dandelions and poppies (and grass), and the chemical synthesis recipe has conflicts and yields azure bluets. Edit to add: yes, they're present in...

You need to breed chickens into a domesticated strain. The chickens you start with are wild. Keep breeding them - you should be able to get two sets of chicks before the first grow up. Cull the prior generation so they don't get mixed up. Eventually, instead of the yellowish wild chickens...

I can't speak to the second, though I think the biggest concern is losing any rough shards / chunks you've accumulated, but in config\fluxedCrystals\fluxedCrystals.cfg the second small section with the heading of "drops" is what you need. The first option is for crafting in a normal crafting...

    [1.7.10] Material Energy^4

That's a known bug, unfortunately, which seems to be related to Perfect Spawn. On some versions of the pack, relogging once you were in there would fix it; other people have reported crashes at that point, though. Use with caution. That said, the spectre dimension isn't much; it's just a...
