I mean, yeah I agree but this is not really a modpack issue. It's more of a Tinkers' issue not yet fully implementing the recipes into JEI (if they even want to do that, which I'm not sure what their plan is). Honestly, with all those new features in the mod, the guide book should be a required...

I honestly haven't seen items go that far, that's crazy. Having said that, I'm actually already planning on keeping that config option in the next update and I'm currently talking to the mod dev about how to get it fixed up so they don't go too far away.

That's because most of the chickens above base level do not have recipes. They require breeding to obtain.

Yes, they do spawn and yes the pearls are available. You just haven't looked long enough to find the end cities. How do you get dragon eggs? You craft them.
