there are only a few mods that have updated so far, be patient, it will take a couple of months at least before all the mods have caught up (imo)

your choice of modpack pretty much will always come down to Gregtech or no Gregtech. (Until/Unless Ultimate becomes easy GT and Mindcrack becomes hard GT, THEN Mindcrack will again be relevant)

basically, Direwolf20 pack is still relevant, but the release of Ultimate has rendered the Mindcrack pack obsolete.

mmmno I'm pretty sure their max is 2. Even when powering a pulverisor (max input 4mjt) the steam engine max output is 2Mjt. It's still my fav starting engine though considering it's non-blowup-ability
