Quarry-> tube doesn't work. It would be Quarry -> Relay -> Tube. Transposer will not work, put a filter down with the small spot facing a sourceblock of lava. Inside the filter put cobble/dirt/gravel/anything else you really don't want.

tesseracts don't work so well with RP2 tubes, so if your main storage system happens to be using RP2 then Enderchests are probably your best bet.

meh, I'll stick to RP2. If powercraft basically does what RP2 does, I see no reason to use it because I have no problems with RP2

the coal will just stay in the generator until it's needed, and each generator will continuously have a full inventory of coal. I don't see where you are finding an issue tbh.

best way to find strongholds (calling them "fortresses" is wrong, please stop) is to turn Rei's into the caver mode and fly around.

I'm pretty sure he didn't come up with the design himself. He very rarely does come up with his own designs for things, but he does make them look very very awesome (and always cites his sources for where he gets the designs) I think the things he did design himself is his Mobs On Demand mob...
