Just a quick aside to get onto the scaffold point... If he can use reflection (I still don't understand this and am not bothered enough to look it up either, it makes no difference to me) to change other mods recipies without actually editing their code, could he not do the same for scaffold...

yeah but to live in a jungle one would certainly need hands. The generation of the villes when they generate in a jungle makes no sense. Really tall buildings with no way in... nah, looks shit. oh now that looks freakin awesome!

I always disable village generation in biomes that make no sense for it... No villages in mountain jungle thingy oh no.

what difference does that make? :S Everyone is capable of moving outside of their preconcepted boundaries.

As ED said, it's not a fault but a choice. If she wants to work on her mod alone, who the F are you to say that that is wrong? Are you a coder? A modder? A game designer? We all have our strengths and weaknesses and maybe Elo's strength is that she works better alone than she does in a group...

with biomass the 2 main sources would tend to be saplings (steves carts tree farms give ample amounts of these) or sugarcane (I'd go with a large golem farm if you wish to go this route)

I find basalt brick goes really well with Netherbrick.. however, it goes better if it's basalt for the walls and NBrick for the floors (imo)
