flying is actually hugely server intensive according to the owner of the tekkit server i used to play on. Even ic2 jetpacks. I can only assume that MPS would be the same

my guess is going at MPS high speed flight is what was so crippling.

I thought they only lagged while not in a valid configuration, once they were valid and working, I was under the impression they'd stop checking :/

I got rid of all of the Voxel stuff. My computer isn't great at the best of times, lagloader mods bring me down to a crawl.

Do me a favour, don't defend your position by shouting about opinion then argue your point with exactly what you've just shot down. I'm not good at all about keeping my opinions out of my posts, but at least those posts don't tell others, quite hypocritically, to keep their opinions out.

boilers are so incredibly laggy for me. Intensely so. I didn't even know that it was the boilers that were making my server experience so... impossible. Went onto a superflat world to test a setup with boilers, built it, as soon as the multiblock structure was finished I went from 50fps to 2...

I think it was something along the lines of I won't be nice to those who deserve no niceties.. Maybe you think what I wrote and what I meant were two different things, because I certainly didn't try to impose some set of standards on anyone.

It's a shame that you feel that swearing somehow makes someones point less valid.

yeah I use 3 spaces and get the same results. It really doesn't matter. You will have more wood than you will ever need regardless of the setup.
