Unfortunately you have a 32 bit os and the majority of the 1.6 packs, except FTB Lite 2, require 2gb of ram minimum and you can only allocate that amount with 64 bit java which requires a 64 bit os.

@Tristam Izumi @JamiePhonic @lavarthan Do any of you guys know what the problem is. I think it is a problem with the launcher installation, but I could be wrong and was looking for your input.

He is running the latest version. The error was caused after he clicked on a fluiduct. I was going to suggest reverting back to the recommended one to see if anything changes.

You are getting an error on that line relating to the directory being invalid.

Is forge multi part back in that folder or is it gone.

Ok then ask your friend what the error is on line 240 of your log.

In my launcher it lists them all to choose from. So something is certainly wrong there.

Add your ftb folder, include sub folders, to your exceptions list in your av program. If you don't know then google 'How to add an exception to [insert your av here]

Looks like it had trouble connecting to the mojang authentication servers. Try again. I have just loaded up mc fine.

You have a java flag that is causing the problem. Now since you have windows 8 you may need to go a through the control panel. Go here and scroll down to see how to get to the control panel. Once there click on System and Security then on System now continue from the step 3 onwards from my fix...

You will need to post a console log. If minecraft closes if you get a crash then go to the options in the launcher and turn on 'reopen launcher after exiting minecraft'. Now if a crash happens the launcher will reopen and on the console is a button that says 'paste my log to pastebin.com. When...
