only problem with this is that you will have a stuck crafting job when you run out of the beginning item. I would point a level emitter at the export bus to make sure the export bus turns off once the required item hits 0.

a method to run items through the ore dictionary as they enter the storage system (unifying import block or something)...I set which type of ingot I want to be stored, so then on import...say if I've chosen to have rotarycraft copper ingots, it would unify mekanism or other copper ingots into...

Have you typed "Buildcraft" into youtube yet...there are dozens of videos/spotlights about it that explain pretty much anything you want to know. There are so many things you can do with buildcraft that it would be hard to sit here and explain it...do you have any "specific" questions about it?
