    As I look at those screenshots, I keep thinking that I really need to invest some time into making some conduit facades. Or, you know, not building everything out of stone, for that matter. But then again I rarely build bases, rather I dig them. My son teases me that I'm just a dwarf at heart.

    Sweet, I'll need to look into that. I'm back on a Thaumcraft kick. I am in the process of setting up an automated charcoal->alumentum setup. I think it's going to take a while to process this charcoal though... Just a couple thousand stacks of charcoal to go!

    This could be a "dlur's running an old outdated version of Infitech2" thing, but when I went to craft Thaumcraft shard pickaxes, they would only work if I used a thaumium rod handle. I ended up having a Nickel vein right below my base, so I wound up using Cobalt until I secured my first diamond...

    Unfortunately, no Binnies on our server. If you find any cobalt, you can make a level 3 (diamond level) pick from that. Also some of the thaumcraft shards, and also Thaumium can be crafted into Tier 3 picksaxes. The durability isn't as good but you can at least get some diamonds that way...

    Nice! What's the interface from the almbelics and such look like? How do you spit essentia back into an alchemical construct?

    A golem may be able to insert them directly into a macerator also. Might be an issue with the version we're on though. See if you can put a damaged sword directly into the macerator. If you can, a golem may be able to as well.

    Sweet thanks. I've made it to teak trees so far. I don't think getting some Apple Oak maturity in there will be difficult. I built a fully enclosed glass arboreum with just 2 trees and some apiaries in it in a loaded chunk that is separated off from any other loaded chunks by a 2 chunk border...

    I'm in the process of breeding Mahoes now in my "greenhouse". Would crossing Blue Mahou with Sugar Maple be a good start? It appears Sugar Maple has the highest biomass rating of any non hybrid.

    To remove GT pipes it has to be a GT wrench (there's a few different wrenches). Also, to remove GT wires/cables you need a GT wire cutter.

    Is there any sort of item or block that will pick up the tiny little vis that drop when a mob is killed (other than a wand :P)? Just noticed that diamond spikes cause mobs to still drop the micro-vis or whatever it's called, and my latest zombie pigman farm is killing about 5 pigmen per second...

    Maybe add another chest in the chain prior to the electrolyzer that has a separate eIO conduit extracting on a different color channel to a bank of either JABBA barrels that store tiny/small dusts,, or what I did which is create about 80 auto crafting tables and set them up so they combine all...

    The GT Steam Turbines are also 0 maintenance, which as you progress won't matter as much, but I still cringe a bit every time I see it's time to replace the rotor on my RC turbine. Although I suppose in the long run it's probably time to make a few more RC turbines to feed my high voltage stuff...

    You can generate cobblestone the GT way with a Rock Crusher, but this requires EUs. This is how I'm creating tripple and quadruple compressed cobblestone for bedrockium barrels, which are useful to me due to their portability. I'd rather setup up an oil pump and barrel once rather than go back...

    Yeah, the OpenBlocks Fan just requires the redstone signal. I haven't gotten to that point in Thaumcraft yet. eIO has mob attractor/repeller as well, but you're required to add a soul for each mob you want to attract.

    I can't recommend the EnderIO Stirling Generator enough for stuff like this. a) It doesn't explode. b) It's upgradeable to be more efficient/powerful c) It doesn't explode.
