Mod Feedback ChromatiCraft questions and suggestions

Could there at least be some sort of way in creative to produce lumens, similar to the creative coil? I get the following debug code: Items[ ] ID: "CCchroma.ritual" struct: 0b atick: 0 place: "Omega_Haxors" ability: 4 (heal) energy: { } meta: 3 EDIT: I figured it out. Re-watched your video...

Actually i'm having a bit of a difficulty building a ritual table. I've copied it as closely as I could from the showcase video and filled in the rest with assumptions but it still appears not to function at all. Is the inside hollow or filled, and with what? It's also unclear what the outer...

Is there ever going to be a way to construct additional pylons? I require additional pylons for my current setup. Right now my only choice is to spam repeaters in a desert. I don't mind if it requires insane amounts of Rotary power or RF in order to charge the pylons, just as long as I have a...

It's fine that the low level engine exists and is free, the problem is that so many options are available with the thing. Just up the power requirements of certain things and it's fine. Forget about all of that, though. I found something even more overpowered: Electricraft will take the...

You guys are missing the point. Unlike other engines which require preparation or planning, you can place the DC engine anywhere and get free power with just a redstone source. This wouldn't be as big as an issue if it wasn't for the fact that it can run so many devices. Sure the wind and...

After doing a lot of thinking, I have come to the conclusion that the DC electric engine is OP. WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT!??! ITS SO SH**TY!!! I hear you saying... Hear me out. It's not about how much power it produces but how easily it does so. It is the only engine in rotarycraft that...

That afterburner feature is fucking beautiful. Well done. The particle effect sort of irks me though. I don't like the yellow and red mix. Wouldn't a lava particle effect be more fitting? Maybe not considering lava particles can collide with blocks. I guess it would look better if it was...

There's an infinite feedback loop which causes the shaft power to keep going up and up. If you keep it going you eventually get a torque so high it wraps around and goes into the negatives. It's essentially a derp physics battery. It holds shaft power but cannot duplicate it.

I suppose it's understandable to not want to redesign the entire manual. It's quite a bit behind updates if I recall. Now that I think about it having it easy to read would probably be a disaster for servers running it due to the stupider greifer population getting access to powerful greifing...

I just edited the post for clarity. I never suggested to remove the physics section of the manual. I just don't think it's something that should be right in a new players face as they curiously check out the manual for the very first time. You also can't honestly say that I need to know the...

Just thought of another idea: Unlockable entries in the manual. One of the biggest scares of RotaryCraft when I first started was the monstrous manual you start with that goes on and on about stuff you can't even touch yet. Even to this day I find myself struggling to finding entries because of...

Took another crack at doing inter-dimensional shaft power and even multiplying and dividing the nether/overworld co-ords by 8 gives me trouble. So that gave me an idea: Add the ability to use the transducer on a portal to give the mod's interpretation of where it hooks up to. Example: Portal...

Turns out that using steam -> shaft power is not very effective. All the effort it takes to get the steam could have easily gotten you much more RF or shaft power. It's nice that the steam turbine is silent, though; that alone makes it worth it for storage. Also if you have an effective setup...

Converting oil into lubricant can get heavy if you want to do it on a large scale but considering you're getting so much power so fast, it's worth the investment. If you just want a small bit of power by no means am I forcing you to use the bulkier, more efficient distillery method. You're just...

That oil -> lube though. I'm pretty sure the amount of energy you can get from 6000 mBs of lubricant on a hydrokinetic is greater than the amount of energy you get from a single bucket of oil. Alright. After doing some tests I have found out the conversion rates of oil vs lubricant + hydro. To...

Woot a buff to the DPA! The crafting.springingot is a new item that seems to replace the 3 bottom slots of the crafting table to make the hydrokinetic panel. That would explain "pan" as the hint.

Pan? That's not a very good hint. I like the idea of making the Tokamak require a lot of energy input. After all real life fusion reactors actually use up more energy than they make so it would be more than plausible that you would need to input so much power to keep it running. I do think...

I noticed some frustration when trying to set up a small railcraft steam network in my creative world. Because reservoirs need to be covered in order to prevent light fluids from escaping and rain from filling the reservoir, it can make placing these a complete hassle in some circumstances. As...
