I was able to add Reika's mods to an existing personal modpack with only one crash, fixed by updating AOBD. So thats a relief and a big improvement from past experience. But mipmaps still gets disabled somehow.

Yeah theres a few members who constantly spam new threads to ask questions and i find it annoying. Half the fun is figuring things out on your own.

When mod devs overhaul mods with annoying "features" like the new magical crops. Damn things killed my golem. Only reason I ever started using this mod was to have more reasons to build farms and use golems.

Paving stones are only to keep mobs from walking on them. You could just make more glass, its cheaper than the EIO blast proof blocks.

Probably could shoot it with arrows from a dispenser, but that'd be slow. Personally I see it as a challenge to be overcome when I dont have the resources to complete a task the way I want it to be done. Its part of the reason I love modded minecraft, a simple idea turns into an all day project.

Mobs, biomes and any mod with lots of worldgen cause more lag than mods that sit by the sidelines, waiting for you. Most of the 152 mods in my pack are intricate and useful for something and most dont do anything at worldgen. So Id remove any mod that falls under that description from infinity...

I always preferred Highlands myself. But its not been managed too well in the current version and full of bugs. So now I dont use any biome mods at all and it helps with performance tremendously.
