1: Unless your setup in some way involves the EI method of passively accessing adjacent inventories, you can switch to a different method - Buildcraft, Botania, and Automagy all have auto-crafting methods. If your system does require that passive inventory access, switch the assembler to use...

It's more reliable to use a pure daisy to turn water into snow blocks - just place water in the corners of the pure daisy work area and they'll turn into snow blocks.

Did you put it down right next to the pressure plate for the coke? Solegnolias are deactivated by a redstone signal.

Because of the way Thaumcraft handles recipes, you absolutely have to research the process before you can do it. Thaumcraft checks to see if the player putting items into the crucible knows the recipe they're attempting, and if they don't, will not do the process. This is why you can't use a...

Enhanced Inventories auto assemblers are a bit wonky. For me they tend to spam the log - however they automatically access inventories adjacent to them, so put an interface there instead, and have it stock a stack or two of essences, and let the auto assembler pull items on its own.

Forge is set to remove erroring tile entities by default in this pack, so it's probably removing them as soon as the world starts. Have you altered your mod list in any way?

Well, tainted nodes, crusted taint, the purple tainted soil (not the natura stuff), as well as fibrous taint - the difficulty with all these naturally being that you can't actually get any of them without a tainted biome unless you use a primal charm which I am told has a small chance to produce...

YMMV on best armour. I'm aiming for Runic Shield +5 on a Void Thaumaturge's Armor enchanted with Protection, with Boots of the Traveller also with +5 Runic Shield, a girdle of shielding and and a ring of protection. All told that should give me +33 runic shield which should be enough for most...

Bound Omega Armour is pretty much the best you can have but it is massively tedious to actually get, and it has a time limit on how long it lasts before turning back into ordinary bound armour.

Witching Gadgets has a bag and a related cloak that you can make, this will give you access to a normal chest-sized inventory that you can access from a radial menu by pressing the Witching Gadgets active ability key. This inventory also doesn't respect Witchery's dream world, though...

So I recently had a terrible derp on my part while I was playing a very advanced world - I had tabbed out to look something up, and my mouse drifted over and I accidentally loaded a saved inventory from months ago. Frustrating as it was to lose my inventory (fortunately my armour was untouched...

Pumpkins, Melons, Sugar Cane, Thaumcraft trees, EBXL trees, Natura Trees. Grass blocks count, as does water. Ember moss, Glint weed, spanish moss, vines, lilypads, and vanilla flowers also contribute to altar power. At the very least plant two EBXL trees and two Natura trees and some 2x2 jungle...

You need to use the pack code "hubris" which is provided in the first post in this thread.

Switch to an AE system at the earliest opportunity, or use Corporea Sparks. To get ender air, make yourself two vanilla ender chests, use one to craft a hand of ender. Store all your inventory in a chest somewhere, then take your hand of ender, a mana tablet with some mana in it, and as many...

Are the items getting picked up properly? The easier forms of automated farming tend to drop everything on the ground and having hundreds of item entities lying around will bring even the best servers to their knees.

Don't enchant the sword, either. The shards come from mobs having the debuff the sword applies, so if they die instantly they won't die with the debuff applied, and you still get no shards.

Doubtless that some of the difficulty lies in my lack of prowess or lack of preparation. I could do more or be better, I guess. Just bad at staying out of the purple stuff, bad at closing the gap, bad at combat in general. Not getting any advantage from the mechanics available within botania...

I use floating flowers from botania for infusion stabilization, they're quite affordable though at the stage I'm at, nothing is particularly expensive, just time consuming. Except fighting the Gaia Guardian. How I loathe that boss.

Are you clicking the runic matrix or the middle pedestal? Every time I get to infusion after not using thaumcraft for a while I always forget and try to click the pedestal to start infusion. If you're clicking the matrix and its' not working, you'll have to check and see if you've left a...

Well, yeah, it produces mana, so botania stuff gets repaired by the mana it produces. However, a mana mirror links to your mana production setup, so you'll eventually have access to however much mana you have set up for that. I've got over 30 mana pools linked to a single dominant spark pool...
