No those sizes have been figured as the most efficient. However it can be pretty much any shape height you want. 32x32x48 is the limit.

The problem is that there are not enough keys. Hence the mod name not enough keys. You have to configure this stuff because each person uses a different mods tool which has its own keys. Mekanism, ic2, etc etc etc.. There are just too many mods and not enough keys ;)

And Extra Utilities transfer pipes are cheap as heck. The nodes aren't that cheap but its off set but the fact you only need one and that the transfer pipes are super cheap. I just find the EnderIO item conduits to be very very powerful.
