Does that mean "Yes, it damages them", or "Yes, they are safe like fireflies"?

Yea, but we're talking about FPS over 60. How does this make anything better?

Is there any point to having a frame_per second rate so high, when the tick_per second is what drives things?

Mod Feedback [By Request] RotaryCraft Suggestions

What can a heat lamp do in the nether? If it just barely gets you up to steel in the overworld, how high does it go in the nether? Or, at the bottom of the world in a Mesa? (For that matter, bottom of the nether?)

    [1.7.10] Void of Magic/Tech: A world torn in two [0.3.2] [2016-09-19] [Discontinued]

Yea, I also thought there was a pair of servers for this.

The server's needs and the client's needs are very different. Splitting into two programs, even on the same machine, lets you tune the two separately. Good. That said: The client's needs are almost entirely rendering, and will increase a little as the visual objects/models/textures go up. The...

Climate control can be configured to give standard vanilla biome layout, with rivers three times as wide as normal. Despite three times the width, there are still occasional times that they dry up because vanilla rivers are derpy. Just much, much less of it.

What is the mod of choice for dealing with large amounts of items, auto-miners, and the need for getting items to various machines? Reika said that he uses AE; I wanted to know if there is something better. The intended usage is RotaryCraft, and supplementing the sorting machine / pneumatic...

My personal favorite chicken farm: All glass around a bunch of chickens in a single space. Below the chickens, a hopper going down into a dispenser aimed upwards. A redstone clock on the dispensers fires the eggs. In time, the eggs will accumulate faster than it can fire. Around the glass: Open...

Those little things that irk you about Minecraft

Actually, backpacks inside backpacks is the kind of abuse that I want to avoid. That's the "nearly infinite inventory" issue. How many mods actually have a list of what they add? How much are you expected to check out of a mod before you know what is in it? Heck, what about mods that...

Those little things that irk you about Minecraft

Actually, i don't mind the various stone types. What I mind is them taking up more than one inventory slot. What I'd like is ... get ready for this ... **BACKPACKS** that actually work! Have you ever used the forestry backpacks? In theory, one backpack holds all the blocks of one type. My...

Those little things that irk you about Minecraft

Having many different ores does not make a better game, any more than having many different types of stone makes a better game. Do you like UBC, or Geologica, or GeoStrata, or BetterGeo? Those are four different mods that attempt to replace "stone" with the various types of rocks; I think the...

AgSkies? Wasn't that Jaded's map where you start on a "skyblock" of useless clay and a "fake river" of blue clay? News flash: mobs *can* spawn on that island at night. If you are in the center of the island, no; if you are at one edge looking out, yes. Also: Jaded made significant tweaks to...
